“No real need for me to jump in here since it seems like everyone's in agreement. Other than to say: 1) Again, love Chris Rock, a skit like that just doesn't feel right on this album. 2) For the record, I didn't actually review Akon's "Konvicted" (that was before I started working for the Booth). This is the first 5 stars in two years or so I've been doing this. The only albums that have come close are Lupe's "The Cool", Dream's "Love vs. Money", more recently Big Boi's "Son of Chico Dusty" and a few others. Lastly, are we all cool with Nicki Minaj's British narrator leading off the album? I'm actually fine with it.”

I know everyone always gets hung up on the number rating, so let me quickly say that yes, this was one hell of an album, but I've only given 4.5 stars to a very, very small number of albums (Lupe's The Cool, Alicia Key's As I Am, etc.) and this just isn't at that level - nor should it be. It's one of the strongest debut's we've heard in a while, and I feel like B.o.B. definitely had a classic or at least near-classic album in him, but for now he's still growing and figuring out his place as an artist.”

“Sorry to disappoint, but I don't know if Wu's ever gonna come out with another album considering all the internal beef. Regardless, both Rae and Ghost have put out better albums than 8 Diagrams anyway. I'd rather have the Wu stay silent than put out mediocre product.”
