Burmy's TOP ALBUMS

Boss of all Bosses Promo Photo Slim Thug - “Boss of all Bosses”

“Even though Slim's lyricism is not (and will likely never be) top level, that's not really what he's aiming for. His bravado and swagger (which he's had before it became so overuses) over banging underground beats are what made him so big in H-Town and the Dirty South. Already Platinum - Not really him. Boss of All Bosses - REALLY HIM.”

Dope Promo Photo tabi Bonney - “Dope”

“Excellent review for an excellent album! As Z said, we're here to display some other definitions of success, and help bring fresh talent into the industry. P.S. When do you think we'll see that Rocky Fontaine Entourage mixtape I sent up there?”

Million Dollar Backpack Promo Photo Skillz - “Million Dollar Backpack”

“If Nathan S. had reviewed it, it would have been at least a 4. Skillz is one of the most underrated MCs of our time...he makes classics everywhere he goes thanks to his wordplay skill, his delivery, and his quick wit (all of which we've heard on the New Year's Eve "Rap-Up"s). We miss you Nathan!”

Last 2 Walk Promo Photo Three 6 Mafia - “Last 2 Walk”

“thatownkid: 1. They never claimed to worship Satan (and are actually Christians in religious status) 2. Juicy J thanked Jesus in his Oscar win. 3. Juicy J and Project Pat's dad is an ordained minister-so he woulda killed 'em if they ever did something like that. 4. As for the name: they started out with three core members (Paul, Juice, & Crunchy Black), then expanded to six (Lord Infamous, Koopsta Knicca, & Gangsta Boo-with Kingpin Skinny Pimp & La Chat occasionally filling in), which is why they're the Three 6 Mafia (they're now back down to two). For the record, they've stopped recording the "devilish music" and are just doing crunk know...Good to make the album a BANGER.”

American Gangster Promo Photo Jay-Z - “American Gangster”

“Sad to say, because it was released so late, it won't be eligible for the '08 Grammys. If it loses the '09 Grammy, though, I'm going to be upset...”
