scotty_donahugh's TOP HIP HOP SINGLES

Nelly Nelly - “Move That Body”

“I have to disagree with DJ Z here. I think this has just what it takes to be Nelly's next big single back on his way to the top. Pain's hook is banging, and Akon's verse is catchy as anything. Nelly gives the song some traction in the club, and the beat's something new. Wayy better than Nelly's previous club single "Tippin' In Da Club"”

Mike Posner Mike Posner - “Please Don't Go”

“Maybe im a little biased because he premiered this song at the concert i just went to on tuesday, but this song is banging! It sounds just as good live, and the production is a killer, this guy has mad talent, and i expect him to be a main-stay in the music industry.”

Drake Drake - “Do It All”

“To me, Thank Me Later was a near-classic. It was one of those rare albums where I actually wanted every single song. I can see why this was left off, but that said, its still a solid song. I'm digging the beat-change from the chorus to the verses. Drake does what he has to on the chorus, but nothing spectacular.”

Erase Me Promo Photo Kid CuDi - “Erase Me”

“I may have a way different reaction than a lot of people, being a big fan of both hip-hop and rock, but i've been playing this nonstop for three weeks! The guitar sample is extremely catchy, and yeah, its no big secret Kid Cudi isn't the world's best singer, but would his songs be just as real as they are if he was. Yeezy does an adequate verse, not bad but nothing to write home about. Banger for sure!”
