I've used the Stanton S-650 for about a year now. It has good skip resistance and I also like how hitting the cue instantly starts the song (unlike the S-550 which has a short delay). The pitch control is accurate and the jog wheel can be spun to slightly speed up a track the way you would by pushing the plater on a turntable. A note to those who have the S-650, if a CD has been left in the cold and has condensation on it, do not put it in the unit. I did this and the CD ended up getting stuck inside. I must add though, that after this happened to me Stanton was quick to provide me with a brand new S-650 with no questions asked. - DJ Spiff
