Pioneer CDJ-1000 User Reviews

Although I do not own the CDJ-1000's, I have used them when DJing at certain venues.  At first I was skeptical as to how accurately they would mimic my SL-1200's.  However, I must say that after using the Pioneer CDJ-1000's my doubt was lifted.  Although they obviously have a different feel than a turntable, the CDJ-1000 CD Turntable are able do anything you can do on vinyl.  If fact, the only difference is that the CDJ-1000 cannot skip.  Even intense scratches such as tears, scribbles and drags can be performed with ease and sound just as they would on vinyl.  I was also impressed by the digital effects of the CDJ-1000 CD Turntable.  I especially liked the programmable cue points.  They can actually be used as a mini sampler and therefore allow you to add more creativity to your mixes.  You can even take a sample from one track and play it over another track on the same cd. - DJ Dino
