Numark has released three new headphones in their HF series to fit many different DJ’s needs. The HF150 headphones are collapsible and have a compact design for easy transport, the HF325 have an on-ear performance design, while the HF350 have an over-the-ear isolation design. All three sets of headphones have leatherette earcups for superior comfort and they all sport 40mm drivers for crisp and clean sound. Numark has sent us a new set of HF350 over-the-ear headphones so we could put it through the review paces. Check out the results after the jump.
The Brand new Numark NV Controller promises to change the game by adding two 4.3-inch full color displays above each jog wheel deck so that users can see waveforms, cue points, loops, music libraries, effects, and all the other important visual information in Serato so that DJ’s can put the laptop away for good. Check out our full video review to see how the Numark NV handles the task at hand.
The Numark NS7II Professional Digital DJ controller is the successor to the original (and wildly popular) NS7 which was released a few years ago by Numark as the first all-in-one DJ control surface to include motorized platters with real vinyl and slip mats instead of jog wheels for track control. The new NS7II keeps the same stellar build quality, footprint size, and actively spinning platters as seen on the original, while adding two additional decks of control, touch sensitive EQ and FX controls, and 16 authentic AKAI Professional MPC pads to control features such as loops, hotcues, and slicers.
The Numark Mixtrack Edge has recently been released as the smallest, lightest, and sleekest Digital DJ controller in the Numark Mixtrack range. This new DJ controller is extremely thin at only 14mm thick and is only about the size of a tablet device. The Mixtrack Edge comes bundled with a two-deck version of Virtual DJ LE making it a really compact package with most of the on-board features that Digital DJ’s need.
The Numark Mixtrack Quad is the 4-deck version of the newly released (and reviewed) Mixtrack Pro II Digital DJ controller. The Mixtrack Quad comes bundled with Virtual DJ LE and the user gets two additional decks/channels to mix with, multi-colored LED’s on the performance pads/jog wheels, and even better construction for added durability. Check out the full review to see just how the Mixtrack Quad stacks up.
The Numark Orbit DJ controller was announced earlier this year at NAMM 2013 and we’ve finally got one in the DJbooth.net Lab for a full out review. The Numark Orbit is very small and compact with rubberized performance-style multi-color-backlit pads on each side to control different DJ software functions, a jog wheel in the center, and accelerometers inside for motion sensor style control. DJ’s can perform with the Orbit via USB port (connected to a computer which also charges the unit) or wirelessly on the dancefloor with the crowd.
The Numark Mixtrack Pro II is the newly updated two-deck/two-channel entry-level digital DJ controller produced by Numark DJ Division that comes bundled with Serato DJ Intro. The original Numark Mixtrack Pro is one of the best-selling DJ controllers of all time and for very good reason. The overall layout of the Numark Mixtrack Pro II is fairly similar to the original Mixtrack Pro, but this time the Mixtrack Pro II has a much sleeker appearance, thinner jog wheels, and the very popular 16-pad setup to control the main DJ functions. Check out my full HD-Video review inside.
The Numark Mixdeck Quad is a new DJ station that can do many different things all at the same time. The Mixdeck Quad is like having two full-featured Numark NDX-900 multi-media players attached to a Numark mixer all neatly integrated into one versatile unit that can also double as a DJ controller when connected to a computer or an iPad. Check out my full HD-Video and written reviews after the jump.
