Cartridges Reviews
Shure M44G Review
The Shure M44G scratch/club cartridge offers the same low record wear found in the M447. It differs from its brother in that it is a little less skip resistant, but has a more balanced output with better sound quality. Because of this, the Shure M44G is ideal for both club and skratch DJs.
Stanton 890SA Review
Stanton's new flagship cartridge is great for both scratch and club use. An improvment over the 680HP, the Stanton 890SA sports great performance in terms of record wear, output, range and skip resistance.
Shure M25C Review
The entry level Shure cartridge. For its price, the Shure M25C performs great in terms of sound quality as well as skip resistance. It also has fairly low record wear. Overall, it is a solid, well-priced cartridge for scratch and club DJs
Stanton 680HP Review
Due to its competitive price as well as its reliable output, the Stanton 680HP is a favorite among club DJs. Delivering a loud and crisp sound, these high output headshell mounted cartridges are also extremely durable. Highly recommended for club use.
Stanton 505 SK II Review
A budget-priced skratching cartridge with a sturdy stylus. The Stanton 505 SK II also offers good low-end output.
