The Stanton 505 SK II was the first cartridge I ever bought. The sound was very punchy with good low end output. In terms of scratch resistance it wasn't nothing to brag about,but I'm sure it would suit most DJs. I found that it wore out my records after scratching with the 505 SK II. However, at the price I paid, the 505 SK II were worth the money and I give it a good review - DJ Spiff
