Shure WhiteLabel Staff Review

The Whitelabel is Shure's first concord-style cartridge.  Whereas the M44-7 and The M44-G are aimed towards the scratch DJ, the Shure Whitelabel cartridge was created with the Club DJ in mind.  The output is both loud and crisp, with solid base and detailed mids and highs. In addition to this, Shure made sure that the Whitelabel had high skip resistance and low record wear.  The Whitelabel also allows you to adjust the stylus overhang, a feature not found on any other concord-style cartridges.  Lastly, the Shure White Label sports Shure's new contact technology which fixes the problem of concord-style cartridges developing poor tonearm connections

Rating: 10/10

These have to be THE sickest needles I’ve ever used. Sure you have the Ortofon Nightclub S’s but they have a specific purpose, where are the Whitelabel has a range of uses. You can scratch, and you can club mix. While in the past Shure has been well known inthe Hip-Hop community - they arent to be toyed with in the club arena either. Great frequency response, very low record wear and ... look at it - its hot. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get new needles - noobs and veterans alike. - Shawn Gordon
