The Rane MP2016A rotary mixer... When this first came out, or should I say, when I first purchased these 2 units, I was in hog heaven,,,,.... Rotary knobs a novelty?...yes they are... Based on the fabled Urei mixer, looking remarkably similar, but it seems so much smoother, as the knobs turn with that smooth resistance that ooze quality... How many phono inputs?... And yes I would be running that many decks and then some... The way I'd have it set up in my home studio, 2 decks on top(one on each side of mixer/eq) then 2 more on the lower shelf underneath... I'd had my RANE MP24 for years, and after having various shitty mixers pre-cursor to that, one recognizes the difference between thin cheap sound, and a rich lustrous one(whether I can spell it or not)... Yes not the cheapest solution, but be prepared to be the envy of all ....which is not a cool thing to be...but most importantly, cool to yourself.... Check all the tech specs under info and features... BUT THE MORE INS AND OUTS THE BETTER.....XLR and 1/4" outs!! the good @*#$! has more than rca outs, don't it? well shouldnt it?!
