Every turntable usually comes with some form of slipmat but it would be much better to have something better suited to your own style and taste. Introducing the new high-quality custom slipmats by MIXMATS.com. These Mixmats slipmats have a nice heavy weight to them and the image reproduction is stunning. Best of all, the method used to transfer the artwork to these slipmats is a type of fusion with the fibers so that you have no worries about damaging your precious vinyl when in use. Mixmats.com has several cool art pieces for you to choose from for only $24 a pair. If you want a custom set (2-pairs per custom order), then you can head on over to the site in the link below and use the layout template to create your own work of art. The custom pairs will set you back $60 ($45 plus $15 one-time setup fee) and the turnaround time is only a week.
The packaging that they come with can double as the plastic slippery surface discs that DJ's commonly put beneath their slipmats for an even more slippery surface for scratching and back-cueing. Mixmats.com also has other turntable accessories like the Label Mates which are a set of stickers that goes over the labels of your vinyl for a custom look. The Label mates are a high quality sticker and again, the detailed imaging is really on-point. The set of two will set you back $10.
