BU4500 Drive Support The sold separately and optional

BU4500 dual CD/MP3 player allows DJ's to continue playing from their CD collection (whenever required) while still controlling your favorite DJ software. Just select the SOURCE button on either deck to switch over to CD playback seamlessly. This clever combo system makes the DN-HC4500 the most powerful and flexible DJ hardware controller on the planet. In addition, current Denon DN-D4500 / DN-D4000 owners are welcome to enjoy all these benefits by purchasing the DN-HC4500 and upgrading a system to be computer performance ready.

Multi Functional Touch Sensitive Jog Disc

The 70mm JOG Disc is con-structed with an ultra high-resolution pulse and touch sensor to accurately reproduce the most subtle or swift scratching movements made by the human hand. Of course, the Jog Disc can be mapped to perform other vital functions too such as, pitch bending, scanning, file searching and dry/wet control for effects.

Fluorescent Display (w/ 2-line Character Text Support)

Another unique quality of the DN-HC4500 is its informative & animated tube display. The display offers two lines of character information to quickly navigate through your files, folders and confirms you loaded the correct file without having to look up at your monitor. A visual 32-position Marker Point indicator follows your hand movements at lighting speeds without drift. Hi all, A strange thing is happening with the Denon DN-HC4500. The audio is falling away after continuous usage of it. Firmware is already upgraded to V1005. I have already tested the system with other DJ applications and also on another computer but every time the audio is falling away completely after using it for some hours like 2 or 3 hours. The controller is used in an well ventilated place so it is not an overheating problem. And to resolve this error every time I have to Turn off and then turn on the controller. After this the problem was resolved for some hours and than is repeating again. The following is already done • Controller is used in an well ventilated / cooled place so not overheating • Software upgraded to version V1005 • Tested with different DJ applications • Tested on another clean installed Pc • Tested using the local and PCI soundcard of the computer When trying to use the onboard or a PCI soundcard on the computer instead of the controllers built-in audio output, it worked lovely for 5 hours with no audio failure. Looks like the built-in sound card of the controller is defective or has a problem. It's clear now why every time the audio is falling away. Can someone who owns this DN-HC4500 controller tell me if they are getting similar errors and how they solved the problem?

In the beginning the Denon DN-HC4500 got a lot of freezing problems. This was resolved after the firmware was upgraded to sys 1005. What happen now is that during DJing the Denon DN-HC4500 stutter and get stuck. After this no keys on the controller was working. Only on the displays pc was lit red and link was blinking when pressing any key on the controller. Further there was no reaction. Also no audio outputs. Rebooting the controller and the PC didn't hepl. At last I turn off the controller and also the PC, moved the usb connection on another port on the PC. Then I turned the controller on and after that the Pc. New hardware was detected and the driver was installing once again. After this the problem was resolved. Can someone tell me what this can be caused by ? Because I am afraid now that this can repeat oneself once again.
