New DJ Equipment Reviews
The Epsilon company has been producing brand new DJ & Lighting equipment for the masses and today we take a look at the new EPM 8.0 powered studio monitors to see how these would work in a DJ and studio/production environment. These affordable monitors only cost $199 each and have an internal amp, 8-inch woofers, three different input types, and a rubbed MDF enclosure for good sound and durability.
Epsilon is a new DJ and Lighting company and they recently release a new starter DJ package for only $799 that includes two brand new Super-OEM professional quality turntables and a two-channel DJ mixer with a built in Mini-Innofader crossfader for good cuts and smooth mixing. The Epsilon INNO-PROPAK is an excellent starting point for DJ’s who want a professional Digital/Analog vinyl control for mixing and scratching without breaking the bank.
The UDG Creator Controller Hardcases come in four different sizes to fit almost all DJ controllers and they sport a durable nylon exterior with a foam eggshell interior to adequately protect against dirt, debris, scrapes, drops, and more. Check out our full video review to see how they hold up to the tests.
AIAIAI has collaborated with Ghostly International to produce a new edition of the famous TMA-1 DJ Headphones. The Ghostly Edition TMA-1 headphones look very similar to the other models we tested, but these have a custom driver/cup pairing for a new, signature sound, as well as a woven black cable. The Ghostly Edition TMA-1 headphones have Japanese Memory Foam and Morocco Leather for the headband and earpads for superior comfort and isolation.
The Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S8 is the latest and greatest DJ controller from NI that can operate as a completely Stand-Alone 4-channel mixer, has touch sensitive controls, high quality user-replaceable faders, and dual high resolution screens for all the Traktor information one could need without glancing at their laptop. The Remix decks controls replace the jog wheels and pitch sliders for each deck, so it may not be for everyone… Check out our review video to see our thoughts.

The PLX-1000 has the Pioneer CDJ looks with the beautiful brushed black finish and silver accents. Check out our full review and comparison video to see how they stack up.
