KORG Announces Availability of New Kaossilator 2 and Mini Kaoss Pad 2
Long Island, NY (July 10, 2012) — Korg is thrilled to announce that the Kaossilator 2 and Mini Kaoss Pad 2, the latest products in their Kaoss series, are now shipping nationwide. Both pocket-sized products deliver a unique music creation and performance experience, which can be enjoyed by anyone, anywhere, with ease.

The Kaossilator 2 is a palm-sized phrase synthesizer that comes equipped with 150 built-in sounds that are easily playable thanks to its X-Y touchpad interface, and gestures can be recorded and stacked infinitely to create complete musical phrases. Users also have the option to record via a built-in mic, or plug a music source into a dedicated mic input. Crafted with a miniature speaker and optional battery power, the Kaossilator 2 can be enjoyed while on-the-go. The microSD card slot also allows users to save and share all of their recorded performances.

The Mini Kaoss Pad 2 is a miniature effects processor which also offers a self-contained media player. Users can add effects to incoming audio, onboard MP3’s or a mix of the two, DJ-Style. Like the Kaossilator 2, the100 effect programs can be controlled in real time via X-Y touchpad. The Mini Kaoss Pad 2 includes 6 preset audio demo loops to get novices and pros alike started. Like the Kaossilator 2, it also comes equipped with a built-in mic, onboard speaker, and convenient optional battery power.
