NAMM 2012: Akai MPC Studio Revealed (Video)
Contributed by djblaze Filed Under: Akai, Production, Videos,
Akai is seriously gearing up to go after any other manufacturers in the music production business (Native Instruments) with a full range of new competitive products that is sure to excite the music creators. The new MPC-Studio is the newest MPC studio production unit from Akai that is basically a bare-bones MPC system that is designed to work with any computer via USB. Users will get the same workflow system present in other MPC units, the same studio grade drum pads, and a nice one-inch-thin portable and aluminum body construction. There is no doubt that this unit was created to rival the recently successful Native Instruments Maschine offerings, so the price had better be competitive or else MPC-Studio will stay on store shelves. This unit definitely looks very promising and we will get one for a full video review as soon as they are released. Check out the official video release below.
