[Video] Novation Launchpad S

The Novation Launchpad S was announced earlier this month as the successor MIDI controller to the original Novation Launchpad which allows DJ's and Performers to control Ableton Live or any other performance with great precision and ease. The new Novation Launchpad S has 64 Tri-Colored Pads, brighter LED's, and a faster refresh rate than the original and it also works nicely with the iPad. The Lauchpad S also comes bundled with a version of Ableton Live so that users can start performing and creating music right out of the box. Check out the press release & Video after the jump.

[Video] Mixvibes Cross 2.4 Update Released

Mixvibes has just released the new Cross 2.4 update for it's popular MAC/PC DJ software which now includes four decks of control along with a new sync mode to keep all of your tracks on-beat. These four decks can be fully controlled via Pioneer CDJ's and/or MIDI controllers (mappings available) while decks C & D can be switched to work as samplers. There are also new controller mappings for the Numark MixTrack, MixTrack2, MixTrackPro2, Denon SC-2900, and the Pioneer DDJ-WeGO. This year Marshall has introduced a new set of headphones called the Marshall Monitor headphones which has a set of heavy-duty-metal folding hinges, over-the-ear 40mm driver design, and an additional headphone input port on the other earcup to share the music with a friend. The Vestax HMX-05 Professional DJ Headphones are now in the DJbooth.net lab for a full HD-Video and written review. The new Vestax HMX-05 headphones have the familiar Vestax "Red and Black" color scheme, a detachable pro-grade cable, 40mm Bass-Heavy drivers, and they can fold up nicely so DJ's can take them on the road easily. DJ Caesar Releases The Bashment 3 Mixtape

DJ Caesar, DJbooth.net's first resident DJ, continues his grinding ways with the release of his newest Mixtape on Audiomack.com. In between his time on Shade45, DJ Caesar always finds time to show everyone some love by releasing these classic (and completely free to download) hip-hop, reggae, and R&B mixtapes. This week DJ Caesar released his newest Reggae release called The Bashment 3 Mixtape which consist of a whopping 41 tracks of some of the newest Reggae jams out today. Traktor DJ for iPhone & iPod Touch

The popular Traktor DJ app for the iPad is now also available for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. This powerful app that allows DJ's to mix, play, and scratch live Traktor decks on the iPad has been perfectly shrunk down to fit the size of the screens found on the iPhone and iPod touch. [Video] Serato DJ 1.2 and Multi-FX

Serato DJ 1.2 is now available for download to all Serato DJ controller users. The update also finally brings the Serato DJ software upgrade to Serato Itch users who own the Vestax VCI-380, the Numark NS7, Mixdeck, Mixdeck Express and the Pioneer DDJ-S1. The Serato DJ 1.2 upgrade also brings with it the new Multi-FX feature which allows DJ's to chain up to six different effects together at once.
