The 2013 DMC World Championships were held on October 5th at the O2 Arena in the UK this year and it was another huge success. By all accounts the battles were really close this year but there can only be one winner in each category! France's DJ Fly (above) took the top prize in the World Final, Ritchie Ruftone took first place in the Battle for World Supremacy, and France's Mr Viktor, Deska & DJ Hertz won the World Team battle by only one point!

About three years ago, we decided to use the Styleflip.com services to change the appearance of our all-white Korg KM-202 mixer. We installed a black Styleflip vinyl skin with a DJbooth.net Logo and some other minor changes. That skin still looks just as good as the first day we applied it. Now we're going back and removing the black skin for a new skin that matches the look of the classic Super-OEM Stanton T.120 turntables. In our included video, you will see the removal of the original skin and the application of the new skin which was a great match to our turntables.
This year's Guitar Center (ATL) Spin-Off DJ battle competition was a huge success. The battle was held on Sunday October 27th at the Marietta, Georgia Guitar Center retail store and they had a packed house with spectators out the door trying to catch a glimpse. Legends such as Jaycee, DJ Sky, Shakim, Andre 3000, DJ Scream, and more were on hand to take in the festivities. There were a total of eight competing DJ's and we've got a couple of the sets and results to share with you for this week's Turntablist Video Friday episode.
