The Traktor Kontrol Z2 is currently my weapon of choice for my own DJ gigs and personal everyday mixing and scratching routines. DJ Caesar Releases Feel-Good Tunes 3 Mixtape

DJ Caesar, DJbooth.net's first resident DJ is at it again with the release of his newest Mixtape on Audiomack.com. In between his time on Shade45, DJ Caesar always finds time to show everyone some love by releasing these classic (and completely free to download) hip-hop, reggae, and R&B mixtapes. This week Caesar released the newest release in his Dance/R&B lineup called the 'Feel Good Tunes 3' Mixtape which consists of 14 tracks for everyone to groove with. [Video] Redmist 2013 DMC Online Round 4

The 2013 Online DMC Championships of 2013 are going on right now and I'm constantly taking a look at the turntablists work to see who's doing what. Round 4 is now in the books and Redmist takes second place with an incredible performance of scratching, juggling, drumming, and everything else in between. Check out Redmist's Round 4's second place performance as he rips it up on the Rane mixer and a pair of Vestax PDX-2000's.

[Review] Denon DJ SC2900 Mutli-Media Player

The Denon DJ SC2900 is the new jog-wheel based multi-media playback DJ device that shares almost all of the same features and functions of the Denon DJ SC3900 which we reviewed last year. The Denon DJ SC3900 was a definite success for DJ’s who wanted the closest vinyl-feel possible, but still gave the DJ options to play music using various forms of media or computer/tablet connectivity. It only makes sense that Denon would now focus its efforts on appeasing the DJ’s who want a CDJ-like jog wheel feel.

[Video] Pioneer DJ Announces The XDJ-R1

Pioneer DJ has just announced the XDJ-R1 which is an all-in-one multi-media playback device that can be completely controlled by a wireless connection to an iPad, iPod Touch, or iPhone via Pioneer's specially designed remotebox app. DJ's can now control the mixing, volume, fading and other functions of the XDJ-R1 from way across the room. The XDJ-R1 is very versatile with CD slots, USB ports (both for MIDI software control or for Flash/Hard Drive playback), and dual screens for a true standalone capability.
