[Video] American Audio ETR-1000 Headphones Announced

American Audio has just announced the ETR-1000 Professional DJ Headphones will be available in late May 2013 and were designed by DJ Champion ETRONIK. These new headphones have 40mm drivers, real leather padding, and the swivel/rotate design for many different DJ monitoring styles. They come bundled with a flat cable (that doesn't tangle), a headphone bag, and a 1/4-inch adapter to round out the package. DJ Qbert Scratch Theory Live

The Legendary scratch DJ World Champion DJ Qbert will be online Live on Thursday, April 25th, 2013, at 9:00 p.m. EST to discuss Skratch Theory and to teach some of the principles that are fundamental to Qbert's Skratch University. Joining him will be Yogafrog as the moderator and people will be able to ask questions and learn more about turntablism as a whole. Check out the live stream link and full press release inside.

[Video] Traktor DJ iPad Tutorials

The Traktor DJ iPad App has been out for a few months now and veteran DJ Shiftee even produced a cool video showing all of the digital goodness that lies within Traktor DJ once you get the hang of the features. Native Instruments has just released a new youtube playlist consisting of five Tutorial Videos that show users how to get started with the Traktor DJ App. These Tutorials include: Collection Sync, Browsing, Preparation, Mixing, and Performing. [Video] Pioneer DJM-2000nexus New Feature Walkthrough

Pioneer DJ has just updated it's best flagship DJ mixer to add more features and effects. The new update is both in software and in hardware form, so current DJM-2000nexus users will be able to update their firmware for the new software releases, but the hardware updates are, of course, limited to the people who purchase one of the brand new DJM-2000nexus units. Software updates include Beatslicer & Sidechain effects, Quantize, and Sync Master. Hardware updates include new digital converters on the outputs, new faders with P-Lock caps, and metal knobs with all white LED's. Check out the walkthrough video after the jump.

Even More New Traktor Remix Sets Released

With the introduction of Traktor 2.5 last year, the Remix Decks are the new ways DJ's can perform like producers in real-time while beatmashing and remixing with different sounds, loops, and effects. The Remix Decks originally came with Remix sets to get users started with certain standard sounds and loops, but Native Instruments has made sure to keep releasing Fresh and New Remix Sets for users to play with all for a small fee. The five new Remix Sets in this latest release are available on Beatport and Bleep now and contains sets from Fedde Le Grand, Pan-Pot, Djuma Soundsystem & Aki Bergen ft. Lazarusman, and more.
