The Audio-Technica AT-LP1240-USB professional DJ turntable is one of the newest "Super-OEM" turntables to hit the market that is sure to be a big hit with professional turntablists as well as vinyl DJ's all around the World. The AT-LP1240-USB has a super-high torque direct drive motor, comes with a tinted dust cover, and has lots of cool features that DJ's will surely love. Novation Automap v.4.3 Released (Video)
Novation has just released the latest and most powerful version of Automap for Music-Producers. The v4.3 update brings support for Logic Express, Studio One, Digital Performer and Reaper, adding to the list of other supported DAWs including Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Reason and Ableton Live. It also improves plug-in performance with Ableton Live and re-introduces the popular Follow Focus feature, which enables you to automatically focus on the plug-in you are currently using. About two years ago, Audio Technica came up with the AT-LP120-USB direct drive professional turntables with a striking resemblance and feel of the iconic classic Technics 1200. Numark N4 Unboxing & First Impressions Video
The Numark N4 is a versatile USB MIDI DJ controller that boasts an internal soundcard with the ability to work with DVS timecode vinyl/CD's and it can work with a plethora of different DJ software. The N4 comes bundled with Serato DJ Intro and a special four-deck version of Virtual DJ LE to get DJ's started right out of the box. Numark was gracious enough to send us a Brand new Numark N4 Digital DJ controller so that we could put it through the tests. Allen & Heath Xone:DB2 Mixer Review
Our good friend's over at Allen & Heath decided to drop a gem on us with the new Xone:DB2 professional Effects Mixer with full MIDI control capabilities. I was able to get the Xone:DB2 in the lab for a nice long test run to put it through the paces and see how it handles. This is our first 4-channel style mixer review here on DJbooth.net as we mainly focus on hip-hop style DJ's, but how could I turn down a DB2?
