[Video] Vestax HMX-05 Unboxing & First Impressions

The Vestax HMX-05 Professional DJ Headphones are now in the DJbooth.net lab for a full HD-Video and written review. The new Vestax HMX-05 headphones have the familiar Vestax "Red and Black" color scheme, a detachable pro-grade cable, 40mm Bass-Heavy drivers, and they can fold up nicely so DJ's can take them on the road easily. We'll test them out and let DJ's know how they compare to other headphones on the market, but check out our First Impressions & Unboxing video after the jump.

DJ Caesar Releases The Bashment 3 Mixtape

DJ Caesar, DJbooth.net's first resident DJ, continues his grinding ways with the release of his newest Mixtape on Audiomack.com. In between his time on Shade45, DJ Caesar always finds time to show everyone some love by releasing these classic (and completely free to download) hip-hop, reggae, and R&B mixtapes. This week DJ Caesar released his newest Reggae release called The Bashment 3 Mixtape which consist of a whopping 41 tracks of some of the newest Reggae jams out today. He's got everyone on this album from Beanie, to Bounty, and Elephant Man. Download & Stream this mixtape inside.

Traktor DJ for iPhone & iPod Touch

The popular Traktor DJ app for the iPad is now also available for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. This powerful app that allows DJ's to mix, play, and scratch live Traktor decks on the iPad has been perfectly shrunk down to fit the size of the screens found on the iPhone and iPod touch. [Out Now] Marshall Monitor Headphones

Last year we reviewed the Marshall Major headphones that had good sound, good construction, and a cool retro-throwback Guitar Amp look that many people loved. This year Marshall has created a new set of headphones called the Marshall Monitor headphones which has a set of heavy-duty-metal folding hinges, over-the-ear 40mm driver design, and an additional headphone input port on the other earcup to share the music with a friend. [Video] Serato DJ 1.2 and Multi-FX

Serato DJ 1.2 is now available for download to all Serato DJ controller users. The update also finally brings the Serato DJ software upgrade to Serato Itch users who own the Vestax VCI-380, the Numark NS7, Mixdeck, Mixdeck Express and the Pioneer DDJ-S1. The Serato DJ 1.2 upgrade also brings with it the new Multi-FX feature which allows DJ's to chain up to six different effects together at once. Limited Time: Serato DJ for $99

Anyone who was waiting to purchase the Serato DJ Full Software edition upgrade for their DJ controller need not wait any longer! Serato has announced that for a limited time users can now upgrade their Serato DJ Intro controller to the Full Serato DJ software for only $99. Users looking to upgrade to Serato DJ+Video will only shell out $150. I'm not sure how long this deal will last, but it's pretty safe to say that it won't be long. [TVF] DJ S-TRIX with Vestax

DJ S-TRIX was in the house at the Vestax DJ Booth in Frankfurt, Germany for the Musikmesse 2013 show two weeks ago. Not only was he on-hand in the show booth, but he was in the actual DJbooth putting it down something serious on two Vestax PDX-3000 turntables and the Vestax PMC-05ProIV mixer.
