Hercules has just announced the new Wireless Bluetooth DJ controller called the DJControlWave. The DJControlWave controller is a two-channel DJ device which integrates perfectly with the iPad using the DJUCED app and also works with computers using the built in USB connection. The DJControlWave controller is a true wireless system that has its own internal rechargeable battery and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity which means you can DJ without any wires at all.
The Pionner XDJ-Aero All-in-one Wireless DJ system is a compact and versatile machine that allows DJ's to playback music using many different media formats including live streaming via wireless devices running the Remotebox software or App. Pioneer has just released the new XDJ-Aero 3.0 Firmware upgrade and Rekordbox 1.2 that now allows users to control functions of the mix such as loops and effects directly from a mobile device.

Today, Serato DJ released the new 1.6 Beta download to the public which brings all of the other Rane DJ mixers and DVS soundcards up-to-date with the newest Serato DJ features and functions. The Rane SL2, SL3, SL4, Sixty-One, Sixty-Two, and Sixty-Eight can all now reap the benefits of using the new Serato DJ platform instead of the "soon-to-be-retired" Serato Scratch Live software. Remember, this is only a Beta release, so Serato users are warned not to use this software in live performances because its not yet fully tested.
Yesterday, Denon DJ Division announced their brand new flagship controller the MC6000MK2 which is an update to their original top-tier controller which adds Serato DJ compatibility,Slip Mode, new Jog Wheels, Loop Roll, and more. The MC6000MK2 is a high-powered four channel DJ controller and standalone mixer with all of the functionality of the original with compatibility with almost all MIDI-enabled DJ software including Serato, Traktor, VDJ, and Mixvibes Cross. The MC6000MK2 still keeps that same durable build quality and compact footprint that made the original a huge success. Today, Serato has announced the release of the Remote Mini App for iPhone/iPod Touch users. The Serato Remote Mini App is a trimmed down version of the iPad Remote App that allows DJ's to use their iPhone or iPod Touch to load tracks, instant double, set and trigger Cue Points, Loop, Samples, and manipulate FX when used in conjunction with Serato DJ or Serato Scratch Live.
Monster is bringing us a new and ultra-portable DJ system called GO-DJ. The GO-DJ device has a built in mixer, storage for music, dual screens for deck controls, and an audio interface for speakers and headphones. This compact unit is only a bit larger than most cell phones and has lots of functions that DJ's can use to play at a small gig or in the comforts of their own home.
