Stanton ST.150 & STR8-150 Gets New Cartridges

This year at Musikmesse 2013, Stanton has announced that their long standing flagship turntables (the ST-150 and STR8-150) will get new cartridges included in the box for all future production runs. So if someone purchases a Stanton ST-150 (S-tonearm) turntable, they will get a TrackMaster V.3 uni-body cartridge and the buyers of the Stanton STR8-150 (Straight-tonearm) turntable will get the SM V.3 headshell mountable cartridge. 2013 DMC American Battleground

The DMC World DJ competition is celebrating 30 years of staging the greatest turntablist battles of all time and with it comes LOTS of festivities all across the United States that serve as both competition and showcases. This year, there will be many previous champion DJ's traveling around the US to both show off the skills and to host the regional competitions that will lead up to the DMC US finals on August 3rd in NYC. [Video] Studio Scratches Newest Release

I always love a nice, clean, and crisp scratching performance and the peeps over at Studio Scratches seem to always get it right. Check out this new turntablist performance (or practice video as they call it) which is labeled Studio Scratches Glow In The Dark Cuts. Turntablist Video Friday: On Da Spin DJ Tim Martell

Turntablist Video Friday makes another rare appearance today and this time we're back once again with a new "On Da Spin" Webisode with DJ Tim Martell. During this online series, there will be feature interviews along with other footage from known and unknown DJ's.
