[Video] DIY Innofader PNP + Traktor Kontrol Z2

For the past few years, there's been one DJ crossfader on the market that seems to rise above the competition. The Innofader is a durable and highly customizable fader that can be purchased and installed to upgrade your current crossfader or linefaders found on a DJ Mixer or DJ Controller. The Innofader can work with many different mixers or controllers and can be adjusted in many different ways so the DJ gets a seriously customized feel to suit his/her fader-needs. Users can adjust the tension, the cut-in distance, and the sharpness of the curve on the Innofader. The Innofader comes in many different models such as the Innobender and the Innofader PNP which work with various styles of DJ Mixers and Controllers. Audio Innovative was gracious enough to send me a new Innofader PNP to show the masses just how easy it is to install inside the all new Traktor Kontrol Z2. Check out the DIY video after the jump.

[Video] Custom Stylelfip.com Traktor Kontrol Z2

The Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol Z2 Mixer has been out on the market for a few months now and everyone who loves Traktor loves using this mixer. The Traktor Kontrol Z2 has removable faceplates that can now be customized with the help of our friends over at Styleflip.com. Styleflip is now the first company to offer a custom skin for the Traktor Kontrol Z2 mixer to both protect it and to add some of your own unique style. [NAMM 2013] DJ Tech DIF-1S

DJ Tech made an appearance at this year's NAMM 2013 show in California and they brought with them a super-affordable and very capable 2-channel DJ mixer with a scratch-worthy Mini-Innofader at the crossfader position. This new mixer is known as the DJ Tech DIF-1S and for the low price of only $150 it's sure to turn heads amongst beginner DJ's and those looking for a back-up or additional compact but sturdy mixer to get their scratch on with. The DIF-1S is built on a solid metal chassis and is DVS system friendly as it comes with a dedicated Timecode switch on each channel which allows seamless changeover between timecode DVS systems with no interruption to the music. [NAMM 2013] Numark NS7 II Announced (Video)

The Numark NS7 was and still is a huge hit amongst DJ's who want the feel of good old fashioned vinyl mixed in with the convenience of a Digital DJ Controller. At this year's NAMM, Numark has announced the successor to its super successful controller called the NS7 II. The NS7 II has the same vinyl top actively spinning motorized platters found on the original NS7 along with two extra channels of control, a standalone mixer function, and 16 performance pads that will all work in perfect harmony with the new Serato DJ software. [NAMM 2013] Pioneer’s Platinum Limited Edition DJ Gear

Pioneer DJ is offering something special to DJ's who want to stand out from the crowd but still want the same latest and greatest features found in the flagship Pioneer DJ Setup. For NAMM 2013, Pioneer DJ has announced its Platinum Limited Edition setup which will include two platinum edition CDJ-2000nexus-M CD decks and a DJM-900nexus-M DJ mixer all for the cool price of $8500. [Video] DIY: Traktor/Serato DVS Soundcards Installed Inside Your Mixer

In my latest DIY Video, I'm showing the masses how they can install a Traktor/Serato DVS soundcard inside of your favorite mixer for a nicely updated and compact setup. Some new mixers on the market today come with a DVS soundcard already installed (Traktor Z2, Pioneer DJM-T1, Rane Sixty-One) so that the user only has to connect their CD or vinyl timecode decks directly into the RCA inputs for a plug-and-play solution. I installed a Traktor A4 inside of the Korg KM-202 & a Traktor A6 inside of the Vestax PMC-05ProIV. Check out the writeup & video inside to see how it's done.

[Video] Pioneer XDJ-AERO Auto-Cue Demo

The Pioneer XDJ-AERO is a very fun all-in-one DJ Mixstation and a very capable DJ controller with great build quality and lots of features. We recently reviewed the Pioneer XDJ-AERO a few short months ago and it is really one of my favorite machines to DJ with. It's just a lot of fun and there are so many ways to use it in a DJ setup. Pioneer DJ has released a new walkthrough video that shows users of the XDJ-AERO how to use the new Auto-Cue Memory Recall feature. Check out the video and Full HD-Video review after the jump.

[Video] American Audio MXR-Series Demos

The brand new American Audio 10 MXR, 14 MXR, and 19-MXR controller-mixers can both act as analog mixers and full out DJ controllers for your favorite DJ software. Each comes bundled with a special edition of Virtual DJ LE that will allow users to mix in MIDI mode right out of the box. All of the AA MXR mixer-controllers both also have full 4-in/4-out soundcards that are capable of CDJ or vinyl timecode playback meaning you can plug your decks directly into one of these mixers and add some Serato control vinyl or CD's and you're ready to mix in DVS mode.
