[TVR] Chris Karns - How To Set A Trap

For this week's Turntablist Video Friday series we'll see Chris Karns (2013 Master of the Mix Competitor, 2011 DMC USA & World Champion, 3x Red Bull Thre3style Winner, and touring DJ For Yelawolf) ripping it up on the Technics 1200's along with a Rane Sixty-Two mixer and the Serato DJ software. [Video] Pioneer DJM-2000nexus New Feature Walkthrough

Pioneer DJ has just updated it's best flagship DJ mixer to add more features and effects. The new update is both in software and in hardware form, so current DJM-2000nexus users will be able to update their firmware for the new software releases, but the hardware updates are, of course, limited to the people who purchase one of the brand new DJM-2000nexus units. Software updates include Beatslicer & Sidechain effects, Quantize, and Sync Master. Hardware updates include new digital converters on the outputs, new faders with P-Lock caps, and metal knobs with all white LED's. Check out the walkthrough video after the jump.

Reloop RMX-80 Mixer Announced

Reloop has been making some high quality DJ products and they continue the trend with the announcement of the brand new Reloop RMX-80 Digital Mixer. [Video] Pioneer DJM-750 Mixer Announced

Pioneer DJ division has just announced their newest DJ mixer in the professional "DJM" line dubbed the Pioneer DJM-750. This new four-channel mixer has a built in 4-in/4-out USB soundcard and a host of effects options such as the brand new Boost Color FX, the Sound Color FX, and the Beat FX which can be combined to create over 100 types of effects for even more creative options. 2013 DMC American Battleground

The DMC World DJ competition is celebrating 30 years of staging the greatest turntablist battles of all time and with it comes LOTS of festivities all across the United States that serve as both competition and showcases. This year, there will be many previous champion DJ's traveling around the US to both show off the skills and to host the regional competitions that will lead up to the DMC US finals on August 3rd in NYC. Check out the full list of events and competition rounds inside so you can either join or get involved with the festivities.

[Review] American Audio MXR-10 Mixer/Controller

The American Audio MXR-10 is a two-channel USB professional DJ Mixer with an internal 4-in/4-out internal DJ soundcard with additional MIDI buttons and the necessary features to let DJ’s get right into the Digital Mix. The American Audio MXR series Mixer/DJ controllers with internal 4-in/4-out (DVS-capable) soundcards come in at an excellent price-point and have many features today's DJ's want. They are regular stand-alone DJ mixers and they also have MIDI buttons, knobs, and faders on-board that can be used to manipulate the DJ software of the user's choice. [Review] Pioneer DDJ-SX Controller & Serato DJ Software

The Pioneer DDJ-SX Digital DJ controller is the latest and greatest Flagship (top-of-the-line) professional DJ controller from Pioneer DJ division that offers the most complete control over the newly released Serato DJ software which will replace the Serato Itch software for Serato DJ controllers. The Pioneer DDJ-SX is with the new Second Generation of Pioneer DJ controllers (DDJ-WeGO & XDJ-Aero) which now dawn the new metal-top jog wheels instead of the push-top design, and they all feel like they were built better than the original DDJ’s of a few years ago.
