[Video] Pioneer DDJ-S1 Now With Serato DJ!

The Pioneer DDJ-S1 was released back in 2011 and was designed to work with perfectly Serato Itch. We reviewed the controller and found it to be a great DJ control surface for Serato software DJ's. Now that Serato Itch software has been replaced by Serato DJ with a better layout and new features, the DDJ-S1 owners can now reap the benefits by downloading the new firmware and Free Serato DJ upgrade to get the full use out of their controller. [Video] Serato DJ with Numark NS6

The Numark NS6 has been out on the market for almost two years now, but its still one of my favorite controllers to use with Serato. During our HD-Video review, we loved the build quality, tight jog wheels, and excellent fader feel along with the plethora of input and output options that are available to the users. The NS6 now gets a free software upgrade from Serato Itch to the new and improved Serato DJ and DJ CXL is in the Numark Studio to give a quick demo video of the new look and features. [Video] Serato DJ 1.2 and Multi-FX

Serato DJ 1.2 is now available for download to all Serato DJ controller users. The update also finally brings the Serato DJ software upgrade to Serato Itch users who own the Vestax VCI-380, the Numark NS7, Mixdeck, Mixdeck Express and the Pioneer DDJ-S1. The Serato DJ 1.2 upgrade also brings with it the new Multi-FX feature which allows DJ's to chain up to six different effects together at once. Limited Time: Serato DJ for $99

Anyone who was waiting to purchase the Serato DJ Full Software edition upgrade for their DJ controller need not wait any longer! Serato has announced that for a limited time users can now upgrade their Serato DJ Intro controller to the Full Serato DJ software for only $99. Users looking to upgrade to Serato DJ+Video will only shell out $150. I'm not sure how long this deal will last, but it's pretty safe to say that it won't be long. Vestax VCI-400DJ “Officially” Announced

The Vestax VCI-400 Digital DJ controller can now be purchased with the full Serato DJ software already bundled and ready to go. Vestax has now officially announced the Vestax VCI-400DJ which, not only comes with Serato DJ, but also dawns a new color scheme and skin which have commands and features that correspond to the features found in the new software. I liked the VCI-400 so much that I kept my review unit and even upgraded the crossfader to the scratch-happy CF-X2. The perfect Serato DJ integration is yet another reason for people to take a good look at the VCI-400 if they are in the market for a new DJ controller. Check out the full press release inside.

Numark Announces Mixtrack Edge DJ Controller

Numark is announcing quite a few DJ products this week in anticipation of the Frankfurt, Germany Musikmesse show. We recently showed you the Mixtrack Quad, four-deck DJ controller that Numark has already announced and now the new minimalistic Mixtrack Edge gets the pre-release treatment. This new ultra-slim DJ controller has a high-quality aluminum build while providing easy-to-use controls for DJ's on the go or DJ's with limited space. Numark Announces Mixtrack Quad DJ Controller

The Numark Mixtrack Quad Pro DJ controller has just been announced and is on its way to this week's Musikmesse 2013 show in Frankfurt Germany for all to see. The Mixtrack Quad is the 4-deck version of the newly released (and reviewed) Mixtrack Pro II Digital DJ controller. With the Mixtrack Quad, the user gets two additional decks/channels to mix with, multi-colored LED's on the performance pads/jog wheels, and even better construction for added durability. [Video] Pioneer DJ WeCAi Cable Connects ERGO/WeGO to iPad

Pioneer's popular DDJ-WeGO and DDJ-ERGO controllers are now even more portable, with the release of the WeCAi cable which allows DJs to use the WeGO and ERGO's tactile controls to mix and mash up tracks on their iPads. The WeCAi cable lets DJs connect to Algoriddim's djay app to access music direct from their iTunes library, or get to grips with video mixing using Algorridim's vjay app. The Pioneer DJ WeCAi cable will be available sometime next month.
