Gemini has been on their grind lately releasing some new speakers and products geared towards Mobile DJ’s and small event users on a budget. This time they have released the new Gemini RS-415USB Powered Loudspeaker that has on-board USB and SD card ports for direct music or track playback. There is also a bright LCD screen with controls for Play/Pause, Stop, Repeat, or Track Skip giving users the ability to locate their tracks. This 300-watt system includes a 15-inch woofer and a Titanium driver for the highs all in one compact and mobile package. Details inside.

Gemini has been supplying DJ’s with gear for ages now and they are looking to step into the Portable PA DJ Market by introducing the new Gemini MS-USB system. Everything that is needed on a Portable PA system is found on the MS-USB which includes: an SD card slot and RCA input for audio playback, 100-watt Amp with 8-inch speaker, 12-hour-use rechargeable battery, and a dynamic microphone. We reviewed the Gemini FirstMix some time ago here on DJbooth.net and now the unit is finally available on store shelves everywhere for the scant retail price of $99. If you are a beginner DJ or someone who wants a super-small controller to tote around in a backpack, then this may just be the controller for you. On-hand were the entire line of Gemini DJ Products like the CDJ-700, CNTRL-2, CNTRL-7 Media controllers and PS mixers, Loudspeakers, and other rackmount Mobile DJ equipment. All of their controllers and media players were on full display for anyone to walk right up and use. The Staff was very at every corner for quick assistance, unlike some other booths out there. Gemini DJ division is throwing it’s hat into the 4-deck/4-channel media controller arena at this year’s NAMM 2011. Introducing the new Gemini CTRL-47 digital media controller. This unit boasts 4-channels of mixing goodness with two full jog wheels and it comes bundled with Virtual DJ 7. The press release doesn’t provide too much information but on the face of the unit, you can see controls for loops, effects, samples, and hot cues. Will the Gemini controller be up to the hype or will it get lost in the fray of other 4-channel media controllers?
