AMS+DJbooth Top DJ Headphone Picks

There are lots of headphones out there for DJ's to choose from and sometimes it's hard to determine exactly which headphones would be right for each user. DJbooth.net has recently teamed up with American Musical Supply (AMS) to bring you a "Top DJ Headphone Picks" list which breaks down the features of a good DJ headphone and offers up some fine examples of DJ headphones that are currently for sale at the AMS website. Marshall Major 50 FX Headphones Released

The Marshall Major headphones look great, sound great, and work well for DJ's and performing artists of all styles as seen in my full HD-Video review a few short months ago. Now Marshall has released the new Major 50 FX Limited Edition Headphones to commemorate the 50-Years of Marshall's legendary sound. The Marshall Major 50 FX comes with gold accents, Apple-certified microphone and remote and other styling cues taken from the 50th-Annaversary Guitar Amps that are now on sale. Styleflip has been customizing DJbooth.net DJ gear for over two years now and its about time that we've went ahead and customized another piece to show everyone what Styleflip is all about. Basically, users can log onto the Styleflip.com website, find the template of the electronic device you want to customize, and create a custom (heavy-duty) vinyl skin using texts, uploads, and custom colors to make your gear stand out from the crowd. We've used Styleflip.com for our Korg KM-202 and Vestax PMC-05proIII and now we're happy to bring you a quick install video on our Vestax PMC-05proIV to show everyone just how easy and simple it really is to Styleflip your gear.

Urbanears Headphones Fall/Winter 2012 Colors Released

The new Urbanears headphone colors for the Fall and Winter 2012 season are now available for purchase everywhere Urbanears headphones are sold. The Urbanears line of headphones includes the Plattan (lightweight on the ear headphones), the Medis (), and the recently reviewed Zinken (Professional DJ Grade headphones). Each of these headphones come in more than ten different colors, and now we can add the new three fall colors to the list; Rust, Pumpkin, and Forest. [Video] V-MODA M-100 Custom Shield Install

The V-MODA one-the-ear and over-the-ear headphones can be customized by ordering a new set of metal shields (faceplates) for the outside of the earcups to express your individual style. These new shields can be ordered for the V-80/M-80, the Crossfade LP2, and the newly announced Crossfade M-100's. For a limited time, users who pre-order the new M-100's before they are released in December can get a custom set of shields for only $10. [Review] V-MODA Crossfade M-100 Headphones

The Crossfade M-100 Professional DJ Headphones are the newly announced V-MODA creations that DJ's and everyday listeners and smartphone users are sure to love. The 50mm dual-diaphragm drivers produce extremely accurate sound reproduction with superb isolation. The M-100's also have a Metal steel-frame construction with metal CLIQFOLD hinges that allows them to fold and dual inputs to daisy-chain additional headphones for share-play. Pioneer HDJ-1500 & HDJ-2000 Headphones in White

Pioneer has been re-releasing all of its DJ gear in multiple colors and especially in white. Following the lead set by their CDJ's and mixers, the Pioneer HDJ-1500 and HDJ-2000 headphones will also be offered in White editions that are sure to stand out from the crowd. [Review] Urbanears Zinken Pro DJ Headphones

Urbanears is a relatively new headphone company with a superb line of headphones of all shapes, colors, and sizes to suit all sorts of listening styles and needs. The Zinken headphones are the first True Professional DJ-style of headphones from Urbanears that are advertised as being able to take the rigors of the mobile DJ lifestyle, while also providing long-lasting comfort and style in the process.
