[Video] Traktor is Now Pioneer-CDJ Compatible

About two weeks ago, Native Instruments released the newest 2.5.1 software update to the Traktor Scratch Pro packaged that provides easy plug and play compatibility with the Pioneer CDJ-400, CDJ-900, and CDJ-2000 CD decks. The new updates provides advanced HID support allowing the CDJ to access cues, loops, tracks and more right on the CDJ's display. Check out the newly released video of it all in action!

[Videos] 2012 Atlantic City Full Video Coverage

The 2012 Atlantic City DJ Expo at the Trump Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino is finally drawing to a close. This year we saw lots of cool DJ and Pro-Audio gear from the big manufacturers and DJbooth.net was on-hand to bring you lots and lots of exclusive booth and product rundown videos that you won't see anywhere else. There was so much going on, but most of the gear at this year's show was already expected, except for a few new Pioneer DJ gems here and there. [Video] 2012 DJ Expo - Gemini CDMP-7000 Rundown

While we were over at the Gemini Booth at the 2012 Atlantic City DJ Expo we were treated to the CDJ-650 rundown video and we were also given a full rundown video of the new CDMP-7000. The Gemini DJ CDMP-7000 can work as a MIDI controller, a stand alone mixer, or independent CDJ-700's with their own dedicated Line level outputs. The Mixer can be used on its own and so can the decks. Basically what we have here is a full 3-channel mixer with two CDJ-700's mashed together into one unit. Check the rundown video after the jump.

[Video] 2012 DJ Expo - Gemini CDJ-650 Rundown

Within the confines of the Gemini DJ Booth at this year's 2012 Atlantic City DJ Expo, we were treated to a full rundown video of the newly released Gemini CDJ-650. The CDJ-650 is the smaller and more compact version of the CDJ-700 while still giving DJ's lots of features at an even better price-point. The CDJ-650 has a slightly smaller color screen with smaller, but still responsive jog wheels. We're getting one for a full HD-Video review, but check out the rundown video straight from Gemini after the jump.

[Video] 2012 DJ Expo - Denon DJ SC2900 Rundown

The Denon DJ SC2900 was recently announced and was on-hand at the 2012 Atlantic City DJ Expo for all DJ's to get busy on. They had a pair located right front and center and Denon was happy to give me a quick rundown video to show us what it's all about. The Denon DJ SC2900 was recently released in the UK, but we won't see this baby in the United States for another two months or so. The scheduled release date is sometime in October, so we'll be sure to get one in for a video review. Check out the rundown feature video inside.

[Video] 2012 DJ Expo - Stanton Booth

The Stanton DJ division are also in the house at the Atlantic City DJ Expo and we are there to show you what they've got for us. First off, they had the Stanton CMP.800, the SCS.4DJ, the DJC.4, and so much more. Everything was on display ready to use for any who wish to do so. Also in the booth were the entire line of KRK Studio Monitors and the Cerwin Vega speaker and subwoofer line. We'll be getting a few of those in for review soon as well, but for now, check out the Stanton, KRK, and Cerwin Vega booth video inside.

Year in and Year out, Pioneer DJ has the biggest and best exhibit in all of the DJ Expo Land. This year, Pioneer has pulled out all the stops and even managed to give us some last-minute announcements that had me scrambling less than a week before the start of the show. Excellent marketing by Pioneer as everyone and their mother was seen at the Pioneer DJ Booth to try out the new DDJ-ERGO-Limited and the new XDJ-AERO which were all on display and ready for all DJ's to give them a try. Gemini DJ Division was at this year's Atlantic City DJ Expo to show us their new CDJ lineup and their CDMP all-in-one DJ units. The new CDJ-650 was on prominent display as well as the new CDMP-7000 digital DJ controller and standalone multi-media mixing console.
