Fresh off the June release of his Popular Culture street album, Wichita spitter and longtime DJBooth favorite XV has dropped another full-length collection of original material (along with a handful of freestyles). Preceded by "My Type of Party (Freestyle)," (not featured in the Booth), Squarians Part 1 find Vizzy joined on the mic by fellow Squarian artists Freddy High and Sez Batters. The Awesome Sound and other buzzing producers, such as ARAABMUZIK, Cardiak and Xaphoon Jones provide original production.

Stay tuned for release details on XV's Warner Bros. debut album, The Kid With the Green Backpack, which is still awaiting a solid drop date.

I like this tape because it is introducing the new followers to more of the "Squarians" as a whole. The only solo X songs on here are previously released, so we get a lot of new material. The entire group has very sly punchlines, would take at least a couple listens to try and even understand them all. Overall, I am looking forward to Volume 2, which they announced would be released next month.
