In just a little over a year, independent emcee WELL$ has been featured seven times on our homepage. Clearly, the Charlotte, North Carolina native is doing something right. Don't just take our word for it, though. His new album, MTSYD: The Revenge of the African Booty Scratcher, should be all the proof you need to know that WELL$ is indeed the real deal.

Among the 15 original tracks that can be found on the free project are previously-featured, Booth-approved cuts "Black Swan," "Lil' Tommy" and "Dreams Of An Insomniac."

Guest appearances on the album are extremely limited, but our readers should be familiar with the works of Johnny Polygon and Mibbs (of PAC DIV). Production-wise, however, WELL$ mantra must have been "the more the merrier," as credits belong to 13 different contributors including DJ Dahi, THE BL∆CK HE∆RTS CLUB, PGMW and Ryan Hemingsworth.
