A Brooklyn rhymesayer whose name has become synonymous with formidable mic skills and peerless lyricism, Skyzoo has set the hip-hop underground on fire once again with his sixth studio album, A Dream Deferred. Named after the classic poem by Langston Hughes and featuring original album artwork by Chilean artist Fabian Ciraolo, the set sees Sky expanding upon the theme of "Dreams & Reality" which he began to explore on Booth-hosted pre-album mixtape Theo vs. J.J.. The album consists of 14 original tracks, including Booth-approved lead single "Jansport Strings" and follow-up "Give It Up." A Dream Deferred features guest appearances from Jill Scott, Talib Kweli, Freeway, Raheem Devaughn, Jared Evan and more plus standout production by 9th Wonder, Black Milk, DJ Khalil, Eric G, Focus..., !llmind and Jahlil Beats.
