I downloaded this out of interest to see what sort of album she'd put together this time. Needless to say the results weren't positive.
Last night, I listened to her legendary verse from Kanye West's Monster, and then listened to I'm Legit and I Endorse These Strippers....man times have changed. Nicki was very promising when she first came out, she was fresh and had scene stealing guest features. Her debut album was decent, there were a few gems on there like Moment 4 Life and Blazin. I don't know what happened, but since then it's just turned to s***. Commercial, superficial, corny and just downright annoying pop songs. |

Hints of the old Nicki was enough for me to give this a positive rating, if she can truly find that balance between her rapping and pop sound Nicki will truly have found her niche in the industry. However i wouldn't be opposed to a complete rapping overhaul... but thats just a silly dream
