Released by the Queensbridge rhymesayer in 1994, debut album Illmatic has gone down in history as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time, and cemented Nas as one of the foremost lyricists of his generation.

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the artist has released Illmatic XX, an expanded, two-disc version of the set. In addition to the original 10 tracks that heads have come to know and love, this version of the album will include a second disc packed with remixes, freestyles, unreleased songs and B-Sides.

Throughout, Nas is joined on the mic by the likes of AZ (on "Life's a B*tch") and Sadat X (on a "One Love" remix) . Producers include DJ Premier, Large Professor, Pete Rock, Q-Tip and Nas himself.
