I loved the instrumentals in all of the tracks. That jazz feel, to me, will never get old. And this was definitely a different style for Mac Miller to be apart of. I will say though that all the tracks had very similar beats. I would've liked if they mixed it up a little bit but overall this album is great!

Lemme start by stating I've been a huge jazz fan my whole life, same with hip hop and of course hip hop/jazz cross overs. That being said, this EP is terrible. The structure of these songs are...let's say like a contemporairy pop jazz format, 4/4 timing, repeditive chord progressions etc. Is the kinda jazz he digs the shit they play at JC Penny stores?
Aside from the sub genera of music he chose (its his choice that's fine) the sounds he used are aweful. The keys, the drums, that really cheesy oboe sound, they're all fresh off of a cheap little kids keyboard (or maybe some kinda software?) Cmon its jazz can the drums at least sound crisp and punchy? Take that quantize off and actually play! I hope this guy takes some music theory classes before he tries to make another jazz project! This is a no go!

I love the jazzy feel the album has, and all of the instrumentals. It really ties the whole album together.
