Chicago-born, Philadelphia-based beatsmith kechPhrase has come together with The DJBooth to offer listeners an exclusive stream of his latest instrumental mixtape, The Kechstrumentals: Live From Nigeria, Tape 2. Recorded while visiting his father's Nigerian village this past January and mixed/mastered in his Philly dorm room, the set finds the 21-year-old producer drawing inspiration from such heavyweights as DJ Premier, Ryan Leslie and J. Dilla over the course of 17 original tracks.
