Queens rhymesayer and perennial reader fave K. Sparks has come together with The DJBooth to bring fans his latest digital full-length, Read Between the Lines. A musical reflection on the deceptiveness of appearances and the need for outside-the-box thinking, the set finds the artist casting a critical eye on the world around him over the course of 12 original jams, as well as one bonus cut. Included on the tracklist are previously-featured singles "Wonder Years," "Stimulus Package," "Smooth Cafe," "Leaders" and "Show Off."
Joining Sparks on the guest tip throughout Read Between the Lines are J.D., Nation, Melinda, Paul Rivers Bailey and Tina Quallo. Beats come courtesy of Bugseed, DJ Bobby Bob, Kurser, Navi, Paul Cabbin, Payozo, Sean Ross and T Mos.
Included is a special Digital Booklet and a chance to win an exclusive prize from K. Sparks.

This is an album for up coming rappers to listen and take notes from. Good music is not based upon how much paper you can make, how many times you buss your gun, or how many women you can sleep with...it's all about the content. K. Sparks is really making people think with this album. His content is left which is good in todays climate. I digress to my point, take notes rappers.

K. Sparks is at it once again...and does it once again. My fave songs from this album are leaders, stimuls package faithful and achievement. I love the whole album but those songs gave me the special feeling. Achievement is for his newborn daughter...how could you not love that? Def a great project and one that you dont have to sneak and listen to if you have kiddies...there is no cuss words!

Interesting commentary and well thought out lyrics clearly go into every song, some of the beats are a bit messy though and ruin that voice.

Spizzy's "Tomorrow Today" is one of the few albums I have been listening to at a regular basis during the last couple of years. With an opening track like "Sunset" I will definitely be treating this one the same way.
